Suggestion(s): Works alongside <https://limelightgaming.net/forums/thread-17709.html>

Includes:

        Reducing Car Damage on Impacts
        Standard Vehicle Repair Methods (Toolbox, Station Repair) become more expensive
        Repair Bay rate determined by vehicle (ie. Lamborghini costs more to repair than a Trabant)
        Toolboxes require a [Repair Schematic for _vehicle name_] to repair your vehicle
        Repair Bays are not disabled when a Mechanic is available

Reason(s):

Personally, I'm not a fan of the idea of forced RP and this idea of disabling a key feature such as automated repairs because someone is playing as a Mechanic is often the cause of many problems. It's a role that has no limitations and unfortunately I just see most of these individuals running around town and not properly setting up an RP Zone and using /advert to ensure that people know where they are located.

We shouldn't be forced to go and hunt down a Mechanic. Because of this, I believe the solution is to rollback this feature and instead make car damage far less dreadful. I don't believe the core role-play experience revolves around having people die or wreck their cars. I shouldn't hit a pole at 20 mph and potentially disable my car or lose a significant amount of Vehicle HP. Modifications to car handling scripts make certain cars drive as if they are on ice and occasional frame lag can cause one to often bump into things here and there.

The solution is reducing the amount of damage this may do to the vehicle, potentially even less than half of what it currently does.

Reduction of Vehicle HP Damage will not necessarily reduce the need for a mechanic as the # of people getting into accidents will still be high - however it shouldn't be as common as it is now. People are trying to get places and do things and losing their vehicles mobility because they hit a stop sign isn't helping.

Enabling the Repair Bays even when there is a mechanic will still give the mechanic an edge due to the fact that these standard repair methods will be far more expensive then they are right now and would cost not a default amount but instead a rate based on their overall cars value.

        Example:

                Lamborghini - $2,000 for 10%
                Dodge Charger - $500 for 10%

If you'd like to repair your vehicle on your own - you'll need to not only purchase the toolbox but also the Repair Schematic for your vehicle. (ie. Repair Schematic - Lamborghini [Requires: (1) Toolbox / ($) 1,500] ) and these will potentially be costly considering they give you the knowledge on how to repair that specific vehicle. You may end up using it for yourself or maybe decide to educate yourself on how to repair other vehicles so that you can set up a car service business without being in the mechanic role.

The costs of these schematics would be considerably high as they are an investment. They'd be high considering they would allow you to repair vehicles for less than what it costs as the Repair Bay and thus you'll eventually see a ROI (Return on Investment) if you decide to use this to setup shop. I'd imagine these costs running from $25,000 to potentially upwards of $1,000,000 for specialty cars.

You want grind in this GM - this is how you get it. You need to create things to invest in and investing in something that can give you the edge that you need to start a business is how you get people re-involving themselves in PassiveRP.
