Spent 4 days in Paris recently.
We were situated near the arc de triumph (10mins distance to the Seine/Arc/Eifel Tower). So we spent entire days just walking around Montmartre, Downtown Paris and the Seine. I can only recommend spending some time there. Exspecially Montmartre is quite stunning (amazing landscape/architecture, good food and impressive sights). Dont hesitate to go off grid though as some streets are quite flooded with tourist mobs.
Me beeing a scurbby student though i dont get to travel to often (yet). So theres definatly more to explore.

If some of you should ever come to the western parts of germany however (Cologne, Dusseldorf, Aachen etc.) check out places like Heidelberg, Bonn or the other "smaller" towns of the Rheinland. We too got some interesting places to discover around here.
