Because why would you buy a duplicate of a car you already own and then ask for a refund if it's not accidental? There is 0 benefit to be had since you already own the car.

It's pretty clear it was accidental,

- I already had a limo in my inventory, why would I want another one?
- I didn't spawn it to "Test drive" it.
- With the recent rep items being changed and refunded, I thought the limo was as well, but it wasn't.

And my man also didn't mean to buy that car.

But he gave it a try, which is what I'd like to emphasize here. The system would be prone to abuse if we refunded every accidental purchase, so if you test drive a car, it's not accidental.

3. Refunds are issued for the following reasons ONLY: server restarts, server glitches, item glitches, incorrect item descriptions/requirements.
4. Requesting a refund because you do not want the item(s) anymore is not allowed.

@Lord Octagon,

It is clearly stated that "Prison Dad" bought the vehicle deliberately to test drive it and didn't accidentally buy it like "ForceGhost" did. A majority of refunds are accidental purchases or requirements not being recognised, not due to the fact that the person simply doesn't want the item anymore.

What would be the point you're making here?

If Bob has 1 warning on record for an offence, and he is caught doing it again, further punishment is issued.

If Bill has been given a verbal warning, and is caught doing the action again, further punishment will be issued, it does not go from Verbal To Permanent Warning.

They are basicly identical

Hardly, a permanent warnimg can be seen by everyone yet a verbal warning only lasts as long as the issuing staff member's memory

Exactly, when you gave one to me for it, I asked why do I need to remove it politely and you took that as 'attitude' you seem to allow your friends to do this but people u hate, nah u want them to have a permanent warning. Why didn't soviet get one, same situation as mine as well to be honest.

Does anyone realise how petty this argument has gotten? You are trying to get bias out of whether a permanent warning or verbal warning was given to soviet. Like who even cares about permanent warnings or looks at them?

Not to mention this has already been answered and because he doesn’t like the answers given to him he turns to others to hope in finding someone that agrees with him.

Yes, it was a server glitch.
Refunds didn't fire off for the limo, which led to him re-buying even though he already had it.

Unless you want me to spend the next 3 hours re-refunding everyone, just so it's "fair"?

Has trying to find fault in staff where there is none become the new trend?

Quest, you yourself stated that you would have PM'ed Soviet if he wasn't so rude to you without his knowledge that you'd be listening in. I've dealt with you before and I can hardly believe that this thread is due to your concern about the way punishments are handled but more about how Soviet didn't recieve the punishment you wanted him to which is more personal for you.

Staff has always dealt with stuff their own way, punishments varied because of various stuff. If there is a major change in a punishment that sounds absurd, other staff and especially HR voice their opinion.

Some staff use Permanent Warnings to keep better track of things, some don't if they don't think it's necessary. If you were talking about a permanent warning to one, and a ban to another or something similar I'd understand in a way.

So as you can see, this RR gets approved yet he accidentally brought the limo. Now I found another one by my pal.

Please do explain this as i'm confused how what @"ForceGhost" did is different to what Prison Dad did. Why did one get approved and the other denied? Something about FUMUKU?

- I didn't drive the Limo
- I already had one in my inventory
- I didn't buy it to "Test it out" like Prison Dad did and stated he did in the refund request.

Uhhh PrisonDad didn't buy it to test it out.
He was looking through the list of cars and accidentally clicked on it instead of clicking the box around it, he clicked the green button. He then just drove it around as he thought "what the hell I may as well".
