It is probably the 400 addons, it is a good idea if you wish to join the server to try to keep only the limelight addons, also if you wish please post your PC specs.

Do you have any launch parameters in GMOD when you try to connect? If so, remove them, add in -condebug and then try joining. Once you experience your issue, close the game, find your GMOD directory and there will be a file called console.log

Please upload the contents of that file to pastebin then upload it here.

I'd like you to try this please.

Even if your PC crashes, it'd be helpful to see the entire log of what's happening so I can further diagnose.

I always have this issue when I use the high or very high texture detail setting, have you tried setting it to medium or low?

Please confirm that you've done the following:

-condebug put into launch parameters, and attempt to join to replicate the crash. Upload console.log to pastebin, then place in this thread.

PC specs posted (if you don't know how to do this, please use Speccy from Piriform)

Unsubscribe from all non-essential addons (please post if you aren't sure which addons are essential to our gamemode or not)
