Cant connect (v2) - platinum_miner - Aug 10, 2017
Yo
Whenever i try and connect to the server it locks up when it gets to the downloading map thing and I have to end up restarting my pc any ideas?
Yes I had this issue when the server was on EVO but it was resolved by downloading some EVO content so thats not gonna be much help when the server is on rockford

So, what exactly happens when it says "downloading map" does it just frezze ?
How long do you wait until you restart your PC ?

It freezes on the downloading map 5 mins from connecting and I sometimes wait atleast 15 more mins before restarting

Yeah I have verified game files and yes it only happens on limelight servers

I have css yeah I dont have Hl2 though because I dont believe its needed on rockford?

Are you sure that CS:S is properly mounted/activated
You need HL2 Episode 2 content. You dont need to buy the games for that. Just the models & textures.
