I'm sure the community is grateful for the many hours you've spend on trying to make it a better place.

I still think you leaving is stupid and that you should've stayed but I loved your work on the community, everything you've done is very much appreciated, you've made a big change and possibly even motivated a lot of staff to move and change with you.

It's been good having you on the team,

Its not about public image, it's about how he feels about having the tag. If he doesnt want it there is no need to judge and jump to conclusions.
