Suggestion Type: [In-Game/Forums/Other]
In-Game

Explain your suggestion, in detail:
1. Make it so that the less-lethal shotgun has no effect on vehicles.
2. Make it failrp to use the less-lethal shotgun in a firefight/raid.

Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
1. It should not damage or knockout someone in the relative safety of a vehicle.
2. It's a close-range weapon meant for non-lethal situations. It doesn't have any place being used in an active life-or-death firefight.
Signature shows horrific or unneeded disturbing content.

User warned.

You're only posting this suggestion because you and your buddies were shot by beanbags in a raid and lost.

On/off-topic: I don't so much mind less-lethal being used in a raid as I do its use on Limelight. The gun is essentially an RNG-based insta-kill except instead of dying you get teleported to jail. Effective deployment of a beanbag round is based around too many factors to accurately implement it realistically. I like the concept of it but ultimately being hit by a beanbag while around 40 feet away while wearing hard body armor, likely complimented by a trauma pad, shouldn't launch you forward and out of a window.

Actually on-topic: +support for #1, neutral for #2 in the sense that less-lethal options can realistically be used in raid but that 99% of cops on Limelight have no idea what a tactic is and as such cops just run into buildings and spam beanbags at people until they inevitably drop someone. Or die since blindly running into a raid is a pretty easy way to get dropped yourself.

+ Support for the car thing, - for everything else

There is no other situation than a fire fight / armed suspect where you are "able" to use the Bean Bag realistically. IRL "S.W.A.T." units around the world use these guns when they are breaching in to provide safety to the suspect and themselves, since a Bean Bag has more stopping power.

+support for not affecting players in cars as it would make no sense. If tazers cannot affect players in cars, neither should beanbag shotguns.

Neutral for the second idea of banning it from raids. I do think that it's a bit too random as monk said, but it would also be very difficult to enforce for the admins as raids are occurring all the time. I guess if it were to be implemented, they could simply use a similar script as it is currently being used for the tazer.
