Fact is that someone has already sold an i8 in excess of $5,000,000 and ultimately it is up to the buyer to decide how much they are willing to spend to receive such a limited edition item which has a value that only increases exponentially over time. The price remains at $6,000,000 to encourage prospective buyers to instead purchase the Aston Martin DB5 / BMW i8 package for only $10,000,000 which is quite a fair deal considering the Aston Martin is certainly more of a luxury commodity that few have nowadays and if priced at relative market value of around $6/$7 million this would be a fair deal to include the BMW along with it for an additional $3/$4 million
