Not when death penalty cases cost upwards of a million dollars to settle. Not including the incomprehensible cost of the execution itself. Far cheaper to keep them locked up. Least then theres some real justice rather than what's essentially a quick and painless death.

That's true. But there's a thing called rights. There are trials to prevent people being wrongly prosecuted and wrongly sentenced to death. I'm not saying that the person in question isn't guilty. But news sources are notoriously inaccurate. Where is the line drawn, removal of fair trial? Then American's don't need gun rights either? 
Still to this day hundreds are wrongly executed.

First of all, what is with this absolutely sickening opinions you guys have? You are supposed to be the better person, with a fucking morale, not some nutjob vigilante who tortures criminals to death. You can't just kill people when they abuse their freedom, that's what prison is for. If you cannot abide by the laws we as a society set as moral, your freedom will be taken away temporarily.

Yes, this kind of stuff happens all the time, it's not just a one-time thing. Thousands of innocent people are murdered everyday by your own government, never hear any articles about a Syrian kid getting raped and killed in cold blood by ISIS? So please, just because you can identify yourself in this, don't forget that people die every day, and if we murdered every criminal, there'd be no one back on Earth.

EDIT: Some people don't know better. Their environment in their first years are helping to define who they become later in their lives. Some people just simply doesn't comprehend how the world works. If the perpetrators were molested and tormented through their whole childhood, they may simply not know better than doing this? If you were in their place, would you want to see yourself tortured and killed brutally? Be kind, even to the people you don't like. Primate instinct kicks in whenever someone attacks your "pack", and therefore you naturally want to eliminate them, but you have to realise that we are better than that. Some people are so full of anger and hatred and there's no reason to enforce that anger. Be better than these people and stop wishing their fucking

The officers investigating it have found that the circumstances surrounding the report are not as first reported.

As a result of police enquiries, officers have established that the circumstances surrounding a report of rape in Redcar on Friday 3rd March are not as first reported and officers are no longer looking for two men that forced a woman and her child into a vehicle on Redcar sea front.
Enquiries are ongoing into an allegation of rape involving people who may have been known to eachother.
