Alright, well he's in now. We've walked with him down the mile of hallways and we are in the private room now just waiting. It'll be about two hours of prep before they start in. This will take all day. Now for the fun part.

He is. So far so good. Everything went better than planned, his heart restarted, they are working on some patching up and extra bleeding that wasn't planned. All goes well we can see him in 45 minutes.

Things went remarkably well. They finished early despite the minor setback, his heart started up on its own, he is off his respirator, breathing on his own. And he is responding to us already, a concern because there is a risk of brain damage.

We won't know for sure until he is fully awake, it will take a few days.

So, big thanks to all your support. It works.  We are still here for about two weeks, but no we are just in recovery phase.

I'd show you a few pics but I'm concerned they'd be to graphic for some.
