I loaded in today and there seems to be a new skybox. Is this the cause of my better FPS? I'm getting high 50's fps in city instead of the 20 that I usually got.

So I was wondering if that was the cause of my new found FPS?

Also, it is definitely new, right? I don't want to look like an idiot.

Not sure, haven't been on in awhile. That may help with fps? Although honestly the main cause is most likely the props + cars. Considering them cars have quite a lot of polygons etc.

It may be new, who knows? Maybe we will never find out.
