Suggestion for <in-game/forum/teamspeak etc.> in-game 


In detail, explain your suggestion: Make contraband give more money than chopping trees, to the point where contraband is worth the risk.

How should the developers add this? Might be able to change the config in the files to make the reward outweigh the risk 

Why should this be implemented? Because at the moment, there is no incentive to place contraband. Contraband hardly earns you any money and chopping trees supplies much more money with no risk. Contraband should be worth more as it is an underground task, where the reward should outweigh the risk. 

Currently everyone is farming wood at the lake which gives the police nothing to do. There is very little amounts of raids due to this in-balance.

+Support. The only risk you run is being mugged when you chop wood.

Its far more dangerous to have contraband.

Contraband do not require much attention, where as woodcutting might give a good sum of money, but it requires you to be 100% focused on it.

Neutral

The point of contraband is to get a lot of money, but you must take into factor that its a risk, however woodcutting isnt a risk. 

Therefore Contraband should be more valuable as it is more risky.

According to https://limelightgaming.net/forums/showt...p?tid=5980 one of the reasons that woodcutting was implemented and made so that it made more than contraband was to encourage people off basing and using contraband and to allow for a passive money-making route.

"We decided to implement this because we had too many people simply using contraband, and those who did not enjoy aggressive roleplay were unable to make much money and quickly becoming bored. While this doesn't have as high a maximum profit as, say, an advanced meth farm or running a good casino, it is still very formidable."

By making contraband worth much more it encourages people back inside, and ends up in police having to deal with raids rather than the other crimes that they deal with. Currently contra takes 0 effort in comparison to the wood which requires you to be there constantly in order to get the reward of the wood.

Leaning towards positive support, but neutral at the moment.

With this suggestion, I personally think it is a good idea, but I think there should be more ways of contraband, which come with higher risks. As well as the current models need some sort of new model to suit it.

Contraband is allready very easy to farm money with. And since citizens get no money from it when destroying it, only Cops are a risk. And, as far as i have seen, People who do contraband buy them, and then just base at their house and doing nothing / beeing afk and / or just walking outside and coming back when the contrabands are full. So.. no. It is not needed.
Like Project said, you need to focus on woodchopping and with contras you can just do what you want.
