I'm surpised so few people know the word 'Limelight'. I get that it's not common enough a word to be featured in English Second-Language lessons, but I always presumed most native English speakers/Almost fluent speakers would likely know it.

It's ranked 18996/86800 most frequently used words in the English language, which is still pretty good, considering the next 3 words are 'Contestants', 'Sternly' and 'Unchallenged'.
('Conquistador' is 86800, if anyone is wondering.)
