Suggestion for In-game

In detail, explain your suggestion: Instead of using a command to access the database like the /policedb while in the car it should give me a small pop-up on the bottom right or anywhere in my screen saying "Press this Key to open police database" this will make it very much easier for new players to learn how to access the policedb.

This also makes it easier for player to know how to correctly warrant or search up a wanted person if they are new to the server, even though there is a 4 hour police restriction it would make new players leanr how to use the new police db a whole lot easier. Since it is really important for police role-play.

How should the developers add this? by coding it in. All jokes aside, I've explained how it should be added above but on the coding side of things I really don't know how these things are coded nor do I have any knowledge of coding.

Why should this be implemented? To make players easliy access one of the most important things as a police officer.

Just bind key "say /policedb

While it's easy, not everyone knows the command and this would remove some confusion.  Tongue

To reiterate my point:

FORCING people to have a set key open the policedb is a bad idea. It prevents people from customizing their layout the way they want, and for people who don't always play as Police, it wastes a key, because if they do bind something to it, it will interfere when they do play police.

The same effect as in the suggestion can easily be achieved by using the bind function, and using a bind allows greater flexibility for the player to decide what key is what for cruise control.

I understand what you mean with your point but it kinda contradicts itself. Allow me to explain, there are 101 keys on your key bored binding one more key leaves you with 100 more to go. If you bind it yourself other than the gamemode binding it for you then you'll still end up with 100 keys so either way its the same.

If it bothers you that they key/button is bound to one key of your key borerd the maybe we should make it so its able to be rebound much like the /vcmod and !phanton binds.
