Title:
Built-in Licensplate Database
(BLPD)

Description:

A built-in license plate database that you could either access from your police vehicle. Inside the database, all license plate would have a detailed descriptions, such as when it was last changed, who is the owner, what type of car it belongs to, and finally, where the car with the plate is. The tracker part is optional and would work hand-in-hand with Brennan's "Tracker" suggestion which I highly encourage you to check out.

Why?:
It would make catching criminals much easier as well as it would greatly increase the opportunities for DetectiveRP as well as standard government roleplay and jobs.

+Support, we've needed some kind of database where cars are registered for far too long, trying to catch criminals or stolen cars is too hard otherwise.

+Support if the tracker part is dropped. Cops don't have trackers on EVERY vehicle.

It would be optional like described in Brennan's suggestion. Only if the driver bought it.

I would say Police and Government vehicles should have trackers. Civilian cars can have them if the civilian went to a mechanic and had one installed or something.

great idea - nice if it would also work for ids/names (would require a connection to the death/arrest counter than) - or a wanted list with physicall descriptions... well its already approved and wip but yeah cant wait to see itBig Grin

can this be linked to the persons death counter? This way warrants etc could be shown on the person like: " plate -vehicle - owner -" as a headline and a char with "citation/warrant/arrest - time it was issued - reason - enforcing officer"
With a uplink to his deathcounter (warrants will earase as NRL applies) And the name of the processing officer (in case the officer is no longer avaible or mistakenly did something wrong) that would be a solid update
