Even DarkRP doesn't have ridiculous job titles such the ones exampled.


@Jokhah I fail to see how this limits role-play opportunities. We need to maintain an ounce of maturity & seriousness and unfortunately these ridiculous job-titles do nothing but create problems. If you're a "thug" you don't need to re-define this into something completely absurd and almost indistinguishable. Job-titles reflect your RP both in an IC/OOC manner. I'd argue that a misrepresentation of the job title might bring forth issues regarding improper job titles for their role-play. It creates problems both for English speakers and ESL speakers (English Second Language) by creating confusion. The custom job ability should not be abused by people that think that changing their title to "x T h U g g s T a x" has the same role-play value. Your title must be specific in the role-play you are participating in because it defines what you can and cannot do. I understand there are times when misspelling adds RP Value however this rule wouldn't prevent that.

That is an opinion.  Forcing someone into a specific naming convention for one thing (T H U G G S T A) which is already defined (Thug) while allowing another person to slide ("Insert name" Family) which is not already defined (no requirement for a public rp background), is silly to me.


This is just targeting people for choosing to add spaces or other crap to their name, where it's not targeting the fail-rp family custom jobs that roll around commiting crimes without an established RP background whom are performing criminal activity.


Which is worse to you?  THUGGSTA, or "Dickhead" Family?

Now since you chose Thuggsta, please explain how it is less acceptible than a no-rp established custom title "family" which has no publically stated background, therefore it hasn't established itself as a criminal organization, thus opening every member of the roleplay to a potential PR for failure to establish criminal background before raiding?



Obviously the guy who chooses to spell differently is the real problem.......

P.S.  Do not bring up Dark RP as any form of example.  1: They have jobs with worse naming conventions that I'm willing to show up here, 2: This isn't dark rp, as I've been told repeatedly when suggesting content.   I can pull up yoda, SWAT, and a My Little Pony character on a single Dark RP server as VIP (paid with real money) jobs.
