I'm not going to start an argument.

I've seen recently, there has been some Presidents who have been fairly incompetent (Over maybe 2 weeks). It's almost a lot of the time now and gets annoying for the rest of the government and other citizens. Now I like to consider myself mature and a fairly good Executive Government Official, and when no President or Vice President slot is free, I normally roleplay as a Cabinet member or Advisor to the President. Some presidents really don't know what they're doing BUT they have good intentions and want to learn. I was once approached by Doctor Internet as Vice President to mentor the current president as he wasn't too experienced. There could also be presidents who have no idea but also are quite immature, in which can't be helped. I love GovernmentRP's (Simply just down to a functioning government) but there is a lot of those who don't know what they're doing. I am NOT insulting or dissing anyone. I'd like some peoples opinions, and any questions come to meh.

I don't think whitelisting is needed, it's semi-serious. If someone uses semi-serious as a counter argument that's fine but it gets to a point where it's barely rp.

Would it be possible, that teachers maybe mentor presidents as much as possible to? Because, other law enforcement officials and first responders who do want to RP suffer.

"I mean, if you consider banning all cars from the city, making ridiculous laws, and making people bow to you just to cause havoc more fun than trying to setup a decent government body, then we've lost touch on what the president and VP slot is about" - @"Gungranny"
"You know, if you don't want to run again, I respect that. But if you don't run because you think it's gonna be too hard or you think you're gonna lose, well, God, Jed, I don't even want to know you." - The West Wing

I can't tell you much, but I can tell you there are things that we will be releasing within the next month or two which will essentially help people roleplay as a President (or Vice President). For example, good laws vs bad laws, how to set up speeches, etc.

I mean, maybe you can declassify?

A Hour restriction on P and VP jobs wouldn't go a miss I think personally. Why should you be able to run a country when you don't have the hours to be police ? Anyways on topic in the upcoming months something should be put in place to aid Presidency jobs like Cole said.

Wait like President's aid, as in cabinet members?

I think an hour count should be set for President, seeing as it's a very powerful and responsible job majority of the time. Really, this incompetence occurs in any job though. Just some have more harsh repercussions that affect a larger number of us.

You noob, there already is an hour requirement. It's not very high though in the grand scheme of things. I don't think increasing it even more would really help though, becuase i've seen people with 40 hours do better President RP's than people with 1000+ or even staff.
I just wanted to remind the audience that the only thing more frightening than watching a black man be honest in Rockford is being an honest black man in Rockford.

Im not sure then. It's getting annoying but theres not too much regulation. Maybe moderators could focus on the government job? I dunno, i dont believe staff are to blame (obviously) . Its getting to the point where it just isnt rp. Dont get me wrong theres great presidents but alot of the time some are rather incompetent.

Oh silly me. Really it's dependent on the player and their experience - so it's something we cannot make perfect for everyone.
