Thought one of the whole intentions of the woodcutting was to tempt people away from contra and to interact with others rather than sitting around in bases and baiting police into raiding them.

Could see this taking people back inside off the streets.

So... standing next to a tree and punching it with an Axe is an "interaction" with others?

You try to protect your base and you try to not make it look suspicious. That's how it works in real life aswell.

Then why don't people do that instead of buy a door and put contraband in a room? Why don't they actually RP hiding it? Not to mention is requires the least amount of effort, so why should we reward that?

Not entirely what I meant. You are sitting in a room, behind a locked door, watching YouTube waiting for money to spawn in so you can tab back in and collect your funds.

For woodchopping, you are actively working to gather wood and you may see some players talking to each other.

I can relate. When I do woodcutting, it is usually later at night for me, and I have conversations with people, and get to know them. I have and never will see woodcutting come any where close to the similarities of contra farming.

-support. Contraband is one of the easiest, most passive (passive vs active, not passive vs aggressive) ways of making money there is. Pop in every 10 minutes to jump around and collect dosh. It doesn't need a buff.

Contraband has more risk then wood cutting yet people say it doesn't need a buff? If it is higher risk in my opinion it should award higher amounts of money. Wood cutting involves 0 risk apart from being mugged every so often where as with contraband you can be raided etc.
