I know personally how hard it is to flee from a country and come somewhere where you expect a whole new life, but only get a lot of hate. 17-18 years ago when my family fled there was barely any help, nowadays I'm glad to see people getting the help they need when they come here, for 18 years my parents have worked their ass off to be able to provide a good living for me, my brother and my sister. It is not easy, and I am disgusted to see some of the things people say.
I am in school, my brother is and my sister is, my brother is going to work for the  government, we do actually contribute, we're not just someone to be looked at like junk, who won't ever reach something. Keep saying that, it will only stop people from trying to do anything.

I am originally from Syria btw.
Haven't done a bad job growing up with English, Dutch, Arabic and some German.

As a citizen of the United Kingdom, I fairly believe that my country's men and women are more important at the moment then those who run from a conflict that they are responsible for starting.

We never asked them to go full revolution mode during the Arab Spring and even though they are "looking for asylum" they can very easily go to the refugee camps in Northern Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, and Turkey. Why they need to come to Europe when almost all their neighbors are offering asylum and refugee camps is fucking beyond me.

What if you were in the middle of a war zone and when you were trying to get out of there in an attempt to give your children's a proper chance on a future you'll get denied and met with a population telling you to get the fuck back and solve your own problems.. as a civilian you alone don't stand a chance on solving anything, I am certain if it was as easy to just " solve their own problems they would do it. I truly believe that fleeing from their country is a last option. Not everyone is lucky enough to have basic human rights.
I'd send my children to the nearest refugee camp out of Syria(Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel) and go off and fight. I would be disgraced as a father to see my country fall into ruin, and the neighborhood where I planned to raise my children be blown to hell because a bunch of scumbags want to run a muck and kill each other. People have the ability to change the situations they are in, they have enough routes to get their families to safety and at the same time aid their own countrymen and countrywomen in beating back the savage hordes that dare bring blood to their soil.

At the moment though, Europe as a whole has no obligation in this war, but the petty morals it forces itself to abide, and those morals are creating a problem which Europe is not prepared for. The Euro is sliding all the time, Europe is running out of space to put people, immigration to countries has increased violent crimes greatly, and has caused the rising of Far Right groups across the fucking board.

Whether or not you like the harsh truth is up to you. We are willingly destroying the lives of the actual citizens of Europe in order to meet the demands of the people who are not refugees but financial emigrates. Most of the people retreating from Syria had the chance to simply stop at one of their neighbors and they would of had refugee status. They are not doing that though and why? It's a simple question you need to ask yourself.

Well they don't have to come to Europe do they? Last time I checked, almost all their neighbors are offering refugee camps and support. Turkey alone has roughly ten to twenty camps on the Syrian border.

Also have a fun little video of what our beloved "refugees" are doing when Greece is trying to register them to a list and prevent them from ramrodding themselves into mainland Europe.

I'm sorry, but if this is how the immigrants are going to act when people try to fucking help them, then I'm sorry but they can go back home, because how can we help them when they refuse to be helped?
I just want to point out that allot of refugees want to go to other arab countries, however it's actually the wealthy arab countries such Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE are refusing to help the refugees and some other arab countries, this is why ‪#‎ShameOnArabRulers‬ is trending. The father of the boy who drowned said he wanted to go to another arab country, but they weren't able to.

But Turkey, Lebannon, Jordan, and other contries that border Syria have put up refugee camps, why not go to them?

There are hunderds of Greek people living off just from the summer season. Souvenir shop owners, restaurant/tavern owners and generally anyone who gets their income from tourism, got seriously fucked up. I'm sure that all these Islands with the poor and "kind" refugees got no tourists at all.

Not only, the only time of the season that these people get their whole year income (I don't think that a Island Souvenir shop gets any customers when the winter comes) is now wasted.
But refugees keep causing problems. It's not just the video you saw, there are a lot of vids showing what's going on. Search "Metanastes Mytilini" for results (even though it'll be in Greek, you only need to see the footage).

Shop owners are screwed, citizens are afraid (I wouldn't let my child walk by itself) and the "poor" ILLEGAL refuges tell us to go fuck our selves.

They sink their own boats so the Greek Navy is obliged to pick them up.

YES, I know that there are families fleeing from the war. (Even though there are still "stupid" Syrians that instead of cowardly deserting their homeland, stay there and fight for the land they were born. Risking their own and their family's lives)

I know, that THERE ARE people that need help. Families that were left homeless and are now looking for better lives. I'm not against "refugees" or a racist. HOWEVER, going to a country that tries to help you, even though you're illegal (crossing the borders at night etc) and acting like a prick is UNNACPETABLE.

If I were in such a position, I'd be grateful, polite and kind to everyone. (I know that there are families/people like this. The MAJORITY however, acts like complete shit)

The video with the refugees not only refusing the help the goverment gives them they KICK the food like it means nothing to them. This is completely outrageous. They curse the people that are trying (even though not obliged) to help their illegal asses.

If your mother was about to drown next to another woman and you knew you could only save one of them, who would you have saved?

I'd find a way to save both. There is always a way.

It is a hypothetical question. Either you save your mom or the random woman or they both drown. You are saying that you rather see them both die? Good for you. I would have saved my mother without any doubt. I know that you understand what my point is.

Right because saving two people is the same as killing two people. Nice analysis of my answer. My original point was that we have luxuries, these refugees don't even have a bed to sleep in.

My family and friends are far more sacred to me then that of an unknown being. It's simply human nature to care more for my own kin.

Every action has some form of flaw and instance that'll come from it. Taking in these migrants has already lead some countries into forcing pensioners from their homes. In otherwords, our governments find it better to throw those who have lived in our countries all their lives, busted their asses, paid taxes, because they want to bring in a slew of "refugees" who refuse to stop at one of their neighboring countries.
It's fucking sickening.
