Blackdog,
The same logic doesn't apply. I am talking about people who have lost their access permanently. Low hour players can get on the server and acquire information first hand, they can read the requirements for teacher and vote in good faith. They have access to the server, if they get on they can have a educated train of though if a suggestion is good or not. Post count is irrelevant and has nothing to do with what I have said previously.

(It absolutely is relevant, the fact that said player has been banned and thus unable to access the game server is what is irrelevant, as said player has not violated any policy that would forbid, or otherwise restrict their access to the community or their ability to interact with it.

Thus said players should still have full reign and access to do as they please so long as it does not violate the posted forum rules.)

Internet,
While I personally would support that people who haven't played in over 2 months (or are banned for longer than that) shouldn't vote and people should at least have 5-10 hours of playtime in the last month, this is not what this suggestion is about and I won't take it off-topic.

I really don't understand why it is unreasonable to ask that people who haven't played recently either due to inactivity or due to being banned, to loose their voting rights, would be a bad choice. People have always complained about it, even staff have.

In response to the underlined area:

I was away from LL for 6 months recently, I did not play ingame for that entire period, yet i still kept up to date with the goings on, the politics, and what people needed or wanted.

Are you saying that because I wasnt playing the game itself, that the suggestions/Votes I posted and made should not have been able to be made in the first place?

Even though the lack of ingame time had in no way actualy impeded my ability to learn everything I needed to know about what was going on in LL?

My time away from LL was more or less identical to that of someone who had been permabanned, i was not ingame at all, yet I still was able to learn everything I needed to know by reading the forums, and talking to people.
It isn’t hard to understand that people have valid opinions and voting rights even if they broke server rules. Don’t suspend someone from their rights on the forums when they didn’t break any forum rules. I literally don’t see a positive to doing this other than causing a bit of disruption and another reason for perm banned players to minge on the forums (not like there is a lot of it in the first place involving votes)

Whilst this policy has not been fully implemented, the staff team has voted for a variant. Please take a look at https://limelightgaming.net/forums/thread-23803.html for more information.
