Explain your suggestion, in detail: Make bases fit the RP of the player's RP (Ex. A Thug probably lives in a shit hole or a gang lives in a moderately constructed house for basing purposes) and have them realistically built and not super bases. (So add RP aesthetic to show that your base IS where you live, eat, plan, etc.)
Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
Because of this shit honestly: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...1202512029
Yes, I'm salty. And yes, it pushed me to make this. This is a RP server, not Team Deathmatch base Building. This is a base for a 2 man gang. A 2 MAN GANG. Why does it look like Fort Knox?
I understand basing is fun, but that's only like a quarter of the server. If you want to base on a RP server, you need to make it fit your RP. So, put a rule in place (or make it clear this falls under Failrp) so we don't see this shit. You can still make fortifications, but make them fit in like flipped tables, moderately sized concrete walls, fences, furniture as cover, etc. This is a RP server, we shouldn't be seeing these bases just because some guys want to protect contraband. Make them actually RP their situation. Not just build wall and shoot cops.
Neutral.
I am against more restrictions but I get your point. Will possibly change to +support later.

What would you say is a good or bad restriction?
+Support
I perosnally believe that this should be sometng more restricted upon. I wouldn't mind a fence around a property as there are things like this but for the example provided I don't believe I have seen anything that would support this kind of thing. It is very strange to have a large and masive metal barrier around a house.
+Support
With building materials (from walls to pieces of furniture) being 100% free, there needs to be some kind of restriction to what and how you can build in your respective roles.
No more Anarchists having military outposts like they are in friggin Iraq, please.

not needed, excessive/horribly designed bases already fall under FailRP (or a specific rule last I checked) and I see nothing wrong with the screenshot of the base you posted.
Stop trying to ruin other people's fun just because you didn't like their base

If there is a rule of it, please send it to me and I will love to have this concluded.
Why do you think I'm trying to ruin other people's fun? It isn't fun to see a monstrosity like the example above for the only reason being "I have contraband and I'm in a gang." This is a RP server, not Team Deathmatch. Act like you're on a RP server and integrate your defenses into a realistic setting of what you're building.

Cant find the rule on it, but I'm certain there was one stating that unrealistic builds (including materials) were not allowed.
Not everyone has amazing building skills, so don't expect every base you see to demonstrate them. Not allowing a player to RP as he wishes simply because he isn't as talented as other people is unfair, and if you think the base in that screenshot is a "monstrosity" then you're gonna be cutting out a lot of players from basing.

It's more than it just looking good, it's about fitting their RP into what they build. Not good at building? Use the stacker tool to make a fence, spawn some furniture in. Just make the building like you'd expect it to in real life. You don't have to be a good builder to place props down realistically. And yes, that is a monstrosity and most players will need to understand that this is a RP server where builds are usually requested to reflect your RP. Actually, in that case, if the rule already exists, I guess we can hopefully see staff enforcing it soon.

Even if the rule doesnt exist anymore, surely it would fall under FailRP (like every other thing on the server)

Not everything falls under Failrp, but I assume this would. Staff can't specify everything in the rules, so they need to go off each case.
-Support , a gang could have a fancy base , he could Rp that he stole it from someone rich , doesnt matter , people are free to do everything they want and thats the way we should stay , not to mention its almost impossible to have a propierty without walls
I’m not asking for the style to be completely right, I’m asking for the base to look realistic to the setting. Ex. A residential base would look subtle with a concrete fence, while and industrial base would have larger defenses.
