I guess a map rotation may not be good enough because the players will be split and it won't be a "community".

Map rotation or not, I believe this needs to be decided on as the vote lies at 53 yay's and 22 nay's

I honestly don't know, somethings telling me rockford is too small but I also really like it's urban feel. But I also love EvoCity. If it's going to be any EvoCity Map, it HAS to be the V5P map. I'm not going to vote but will share my opinion anyway

I'm not up to date on how optimized v4b1 is but v33x was a definite nightmare for me and I was thankful for when Rockford returned. I think a monthly or weekly map rotation between the two would be pretty nice.

I dont think the suggestion is for v4b1, but for EvoCity2_v5p, the updated version of EC2, with a load of fixes and quality of life improvements

Seriously why would we ditch a map that has actuall infrastructure and a differentiated map layout that is more complicated then a fucking circle.

If you are trying to escape police on v33 there is no way to go as there is only back or forth in the circle.
If you are trying to build a large dupe on v33 your only option is the grassy fields and probably the DTM Parking lot
If you are trying to build a larger infrastructure dupe on v33 youll screw up as the tunnels prevent you from doing that
If you want to roleplay as a Fireman or Paramedic or Police Officer oh... shit i forgot they havent even got a police station or a propper FD station.

The only thing better about v33 is probably the slightly nicer lake and a slightly better modelled prison floor.

Are you guys really willing to trade that in?

(besides: it would ruin/terminate a bunch of prebuild dupes, planned events and other activities.

If your main argument is a better fps (forwhich there is no guarantee other then some peoples subjective opinion) i dont really get it. Im running a somewhat ok pc-setup with a shitty internet connection and i dont really have any performance issues. Sure somtimes people will experience framedrops but we did so on v33 too.

Besides it would heavily impact map sepcific events and roleplays relying on a dupe.
Some of the buildings im working on take me more then a week to build on. If i dont have a guarantee that i can finish my work before the map changes... why would i try spending the time.
Think about new people: if you have build your very first store or rp setup and it would be good for a few days or weeks, wouldnt that deterr you?

I'd like to add one thing, Rockford has barely any building space. Me and my friend were tryna build a modern house but that's quite impossible considering there a tree world props everywhere.
