I think he meant detailed arguments or constructive criticism on how to improve roleplay within the community.

On another topic, I still am lost as to why I was demoted, but that is for another time via private messaging. Not really needed in a public forum.

cause you broke the rules i'm sure.

Again, do not try to cause conflict and it is considered disrespect towards another player. I've already said I am unclear on the reason for my demotion (or well the validity of it), and again that is a discussion to be had behind closed doors. If you wish to act like this, you may, but I won't guarantee you'll be happy with the results. Now, unless you want to continue to bash on me, can we get back on topic?

Just realized a literal page of this already went threw, so apologies for the late reply.

Not from me. At the end of the day, it's just a tag. A tag some players like to abuse when it comes to disagreeing with suggestion for better or worse.

Oh, start approving suggestions that can improve roleplay and create scenarios. Not coffee machines and spike strips.

Agreed. If by what you are doing is supporting my theory, then yes agreed. It's only a tag and it honestly shouldn't limit us.

Matter of fact what is Semi Serious anyway? What does it entail?

it means kiddos can cry admin to me whenever they want, rather then actually trying to rp

IIRC SoulRipper's explanation was "The RP is serious but we don't require you to do everything" I.E. you don't physically take people to jail, you don't have to RP cooking food, etc.

I've had better experiences with serious RP because (again, this is my experience) people are less likely to bitch and moan OOC or cry for an admin (I'm not saying people shouldn't call for admins but people are far too anal about the rules and less focused on the RP. If you make a minor mistake some people don't accept a correction in LOOC and instead act like you shot their dog). I've also found they're better at acting out being angry IC (or being yelled at IC) and not start getting upset in OOC.

Also I've found their rules to be better too. I haven't played serious RP in forever but their gun rules were better in that they were more effective at limiting aggressive RP. I personally believe LL's rules encourage aggressive RP, specifically FearRP. I remember at that Rockford Club hosted by EvoCity Radio one member kept pulling out their gun to keep guests in check (cause that's what you do as club security). It's completely within the rules but neither party seemed to intend on actually RPing and instead it devolves to "FearRP!!!!!! UR GETTING PRED!!!!" I'd say FearRP also escalates many criminal actions with the police. Unarmed criminals can't run from a taser or gun (realistically a cop isn't going to shoot an unarmed man) and so any interaction with the police is almost always the same for them (cop points gun, if they move they get a PR, rinse and repeat) unless they too have a gun to prevent the police from using FearRP on them.
