(Suggestion) - Remove Woodcutting
Reasons:
Woodcutting is a money-making method that has zero utility (ie. Crafting System) and instead is simply something that inflates the economy by allowing money to be supplied from an NPC and not require or be open to any player-to-player interaction. Wood-cutting is also extremely profitable at approximately $100,000/hour and this is tenfold the profit from both illegal methods (Contraband, Marijuana) and also alternative legal methods (Fishing, Taxi, Etcetera).
Until wood-cutting has utility and can involve more role-play oriented game-play rather than left-clicking a tree and running back and forth to an NPC, it needs to be removed. Focus on developing alternative game features to better improve the level of interaction(s) between players in other areas that are more useful while also properly thinking about the economic impact, complexity, and possibility for level progression.
*For now, focus on expanding fishing, since it is a money-making method that has long been with us but was broken due to the addition of wood-cutting and the role of the Chef making the need for fishing redundant. Focus on bringing back interest in PassiveRP jobs that involve other people, such as that for Taxi/Rideshare role-plays and even a focus on Store-oriented Roleplays. (Refer to Small Business Update suggestion HERE )
We used to have creative ways to make money. You'd have people buying and selling cars, Running a wholesale market for ammunition or things like health-kits and steroids, constant ride-share role plays, fishing markets, Mass Marijuana and contraband operations, Running marketing companies, Small security firms, etcetera. All this was killed by the addition of a broken money-making method that begs the question, Why do any of these alternative methods when the best way to make money is left clicking a tree?
