As stated, we can have V2D back for a test-run. Have it online for 2 weeks and see how it goes.
We've got a custom lil monitoring-tool in the backend for those things.

Its been more than 5 months when we last tried V2D. In fact, a lot of things have changed and continue to change within this community.

If it fails, its just one click in our gamepanel and the server goes off.


Added a poll to the thread. Please vote accordingly. If you dont want a test-run its not gonna happen. But if you do, then lets do this.

I actually found one that looks like v2d but isn't. The cave didn't kill me (not sure if that happens in singleplayer on v2d?). I'll look for it when I get to my pc later.

Bit late to the gravy train, but if something like this was even considered, i'd like it to be a new map.

In my opinion, V2D is simply too old. If a new map is to be issued, it should in my opinion be very large, perhaps with a large skybox for helicopters etc (PLS, I WANT TO RAPPEL AS SWAT). (Chaos city eh?)

Once again though, the playerbase isn't big enough at the moment to support that large a playerbase.

Is V2D The small one? if so Not a good idea, it's incredibly small with dead ends, it's no fun.

In my eyes V2d is a huge step backwards, limelight is a fresh new community full of great ideas and returning to v2d really shouldn't be one.

Although V2D is a great map to some I'd say its not suited for limelight. It is very outdated.

I don't want V2D back, but I also don't want v33x.

Make another pool with proper options, I'm shocked the new map is still exclusive to US after so much time and EU is still stuck with an old unoptimized map.

This is just few ones for replacing v33x for example and v2d its meanted to be in pass not in the future

Come on guys, it's time to move on. If you guys don't like v33x on EU, then maybe it's time to do a complete move away from Evocity line maps. There's tons out there, as Rock said. v2d isn't worth it.

Is it not worth considering getting a map professionally made, exclusively for Limelight?

Not sure if it's been discussed before, but it could be a pretty cool way forward, and allow for a lot of community input etc.
