STOCK WATCH // February 11, 2016 // 1:00 PM (CST)

The United States' Federal Reserve Chariman, Janet Yellen, testified before congress on her semiannual report on the current monetary and banking state on the U.S. Markets amid a deeply-worring rout in current markets. Yellen, testifying before the U.S. Senate Banking Comittee, warned against jumping to conclusions about financial threats outside the United States.

"We are watching developments very carefully," Yellen told the panel of senators. "I would say there is always some chance of a recession in any year. But the evidence suggests that expansions don't die of old age." (Reuters)

As of the timestamp, the markets show as follows:

DOW JONES INDUSTRIAL AVERAGE: 15,557.18 -357.56 (-2.25%)
STANDARD AND POORS 5001,819.55 -32.31 (-1.74%)
NASDAQ4,239.66 -43.93 (-1.03%)

(without trying to sound like a prick), what's the point of this post? I mean 90% of people in this community won't even know what the NASDAQ is. If it's regarding the recession forecast, they have literally been calling one for every year since 2009.

For the sake of interest though, 5 of Goldman Sachs top 6 trade calls for this year have been cancelled, as neigh all of the mare under-performing.

For one of the greatest investment banks to have forecasted their major long trades surely shows how analysts can be completely wrong. (if it hasn't already been demonstrated by all of those in the last 7 years!)

Rule Britannia and that.

The reason I posted this is because I am just trying to be active on here since I get horrible performance when I try and play on either of the RP servers which is my fault, not theirs.

I can delete it if you want, I'm sorry :/

No, don't take it the wrong way! If this is your thing, feel free to share, I dig news like this as i'm sure a few others do. I was just wondering what the motivation behind the post was.
