Summary: To put a long story short without involving a completely different scenario, I was roleplaying as a police officer and had arrested one male who continued to evade me, despite warnings while carrying a weapon he refused to talk about. His two friends were in a vehicle with him, one of which I decided to handcuff to find out the story (why a weapon was being carried, reason for evasion etc.)[/font]

[font=open_sansregular, Arial, sans-serif]His other friend continues to approach me, shouting abuse both IC and OOCly at me about recording, something or the other and I told him ICly that if he returns, he'll be arrested for Police Obstruction (I could not hear what the detained male was saying over him) and failure to comply. Following five minutes, he did return and was promptly arrested. [/font]

I've taken a look through the logs for as much information that I could find, and I do agree with you that the president should have questioned you about the situation before taking action on your demotion.

I do have a few questions however; was Blurr ever arrested? I see multiple PMs to the president informing him that Blurr and another individual had been arrested unjustly but can see clearly you only attempted to make an arrest via warrants and after multiple warnings and explainations (but the president was not responding to yours or other players warrants for an extended period of time).

I'd also like to know who said they were recording these events and would very much like them to post it to get a clearer picture of the situation.

Blurr is the person in question regarding Police Obstruction and Failure to Comply. It was his arrest that resulted in my demotion, if that is of any importance to this case.
Blurr, Ranger and Doc claimed to be recording and persisted that I was arresting them under a false premise. I'm used to this however, and just give players a timeout in the handcuffs until they're ready to proceed IC (so the arrest is done correctly IC, of course).

Just to clarify, the Report is on neither of those three, as all they did was make the situation a bit more inconvenient for me and at times a little frustrating. The issue lies solely in my false demotion.

For the purposes of this report, I'd appreciate if you could share the chatlogs that show the private messages between blur and the accused person, ta.
