Hi All,

Just a quick update to let you know that the Plates Update part 2 will be going live tonight at 7pm UK time.

All plate refund or move requests that were submitted via the Google Form should now been processed, so we're re-enabling trading, enhanced with this update. Enjoy the free market capitalism!

Summary of changes:
  • Added a physical plate item which can be traded.
  • Added /detachplate to detach your custom plate from your vehicle, giving you a plate item.
  • Detaching a plate has a fee of 30,000
  • Added ability to attach plate items to a spawned vehicle, replacing (destroying) the plate currently on the vehicle.
  • Increased price of custom plates to 25,000
  • Vehicle trading has been re-enabled, but only for vehicles which have autogenerated plates or no plate. Custom plates need detaching first before trading.
  • Added ability for admins to reset a player's plate to an autogenerated one, refunding them the plate cost.
  • Various plate bugfixes

Please note that as we've only just now added tracking for if a license plate is autogenerated or not, we've had to default all existing plates to be classed as custom rather than autogenerated. If you run into any issues with trading a vehicle that has a default plate but was wrongly classified due to this update, contact an admin.
