Explain your suggestion, in detail:
Allow (Mechanics) to use the Rep-based vehicle welding system on signs as well. Currently only admins can weld signs to vehicles as the signs behave a little different from regular props (e.g. regardless of ownership a player cant weld them to a vehicle, change their weight etc.) This feature should either be added to the functionality of the Mechanic weld (at 25 Reps) or as a reward for 20/ maybe 15 Reps.

Explain why your suggestion should be implemented:
If used properly signs give us a lot of creative options to cusotmise our vehicles and enhance roleplay. I am already relying on them to make my custom liverys for the forest service but i see them getting a lot of use on vehicles for merchant roles or political campaigns etc [e.g. people turning their trucks into construction vehicles, advertising their business on the side of a van, or converting their range rover into an Work-Vehicle]. Usually this ends up in some pretty fun and creative ways to draw attention to a certain rp or just enhance once immersion. Yet the fact that staff is required to help you out in that regard seems to be limiting the use of this tool.
The Rep Restriction would both be a little bit of a safeguard against abuse. And if it would be put at around 20 reps would also add a new milestone in the middle of the Rep-Tree, so you have something to work towards on your way to 25 Reps. Of course signs can be still be missused, but in this case it doesnt really matter if they are on a vehicle or the ground, and current staff activity should be sufficient to control this, especially if its tied to a rep-threshhold.

I dont know how complicated this would be from a technical standpoint. But if its feasible id say this feature shouldnt remain restricted to admins-only.

Thank you for your suggestion, MrMarsh!

It will take a while for it to be reviewed by our staff-members.
Meanwhile, expect some nice feedback from our community.
