The Fire Department of the City of New York is the agency responsible for fire protection, rescue and emergency medical services. The department was formed on the 31st of July 1865.

Divisions

---

The department is split into 3 different divisions.

- Operations: The Operations Bureau is responsible for firefighting, rescues and disaster response. They are the front-line against danger.

- Medical: The emergency medical service is provided by the FDNY, this bureau is responsible for all medical related incidents and works alongside operations where required.

- Administrative: The Administrative Bureau consists of civilian staff, advisors and senior management within the department. This bureau is responsible for managing the department as a whole.

Recruitment

We are actively recruiting! You can do so by joining the FDNY discord and contacting us! In order to be recruited you do have to meet some requirements to ensure you are capable of performing the tasks that we require from our firefighters and EMTs.

IC:

- 18 years of age or older.

- High School Diploma.

- No prior criminal background.

- Communication skills and Leadership.

OOC:

- Bans/Blacklists do not matter.

- No hour requirement
