After Stephens death Joseph vowed to make his brother proud. He was already working on becoming a police officer, however he worked even harder. Now he has joined the Marion County Sheriff's Office. The Office his brother once ran, alongside current sheriff and long time friend of Stephen, J. Mondays.

Lozano hopes to prove himself under J. Mondays, whom he knows is an excellent officer since his brother trusted his every judgement. By joining the MCSO Lozano hopes to honor his brother, taking his old callsign 2K-81 as a homage to his brother.
