The People of the Great State of Idaho,


I am Jeff William Ford, and I currently hold the position of Vice President of the Idaho Liberal Party, and I'm also a Candidate for the Lieutenant Gubernatorial Race. I am running alongside Party President and a great friend of mine, Alexander Longcross, for his Candidacy for Governor of Idaho.


We are both running, so that we together, with YOU the Citizens of this excellent state, can help us to ensure that the freedoms, acceptance and fairness are safe and secure in our hearts, our laws and within our Community.


The Idaho Liberals want to ensure that people can feel free of prosecution, just for choosing something simply because someone has another opinion, and to ensure that this state is not overrun by intolerance, bigotry or hate and most importantly, to lead, legislate and help you to make this state even better than it already is. The Idaho Liberal Party already are capable of doing this, but you just need to VOTE for LONGCROSS and FORD, for Governor and Lieutenant Governor of the Great State of Idaho. It is only then, we can bring in our excellent, fair-minded plans for legislation and policy to ensure Idaho’s values are protected.


It has now been made clear, that after the EBC Gubernatorial Debate, that a Liberal Movement is required here in Idaho, to ‘ease up’ the policies that were made in a time that is now obsolete. This doesn't mean they aren't important, it means they must be upheld, but new laws should also appear for new policies and objectives to ensure that Idaho is kept up with the rest of the United States, and in fact, the rest of the rapidly modernizing Social, Political and Technological/Scientific World.


Recently, I was reminded of our State Motto, “Esto Perpetua”, which translates to “Let it be Perpetual”. It could not be more true. Vote for the Liberal Candidates, we will ensure that this state’s principles will never end.


I hope, above all, you’ll get out to vote. Voting is an incredibly important part of YOUR citizenship. If you can't drive, call a Taxi, Car Share, Drive, Bus or Train, whatever works for you. Just vote. It's your Democracy.

Union of Fascists

Gun Control
Rifles are completely illegal and only some pistols will be allowed to use for self defence. Illegal to use them without good enough reason and only can be open carried on private property; everywhere else must be concealed or non at all. Weapon checks will be regular in the streets so people are more safe and must require passes to own them.

Drugs (inc. Marijuana)
All controlled substances will remain illegal.

Conservative Party of Idaho

Gun Control
I support the right of the individual to keep and bear arms, as guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and article one section eleven of the Idaho State Constitution.

My administration will call for more enforcement of current laws against violent criminals, not more “gun control” aimed at law-abiding citizens.

Drugs (inc. Marijuana)
I recognize the dreadful consequences of drug and substance abuse in our society, and I will call for the refocus of efforts to discourage drug use and rehabilitate drug users.

Rather than simply throwing money at the problem, my administration will encourage all Idaho citizens, and their religious, civic, and community organizations, to be actively engaged in this effort. We will support creative alternative sentencing, such as drug courts, and treatment for nonviolent drug offenders.

I support the legalization and appropriate regulation of marijuana to ensure its safe use and distribution.

National Socialist Party of Idaho

Gun Control
The NSPI seeks complete confiscation of any weapons. The state and especially TrueNorth are in a crisis of violence. Weapons and African-American gangs are the main cause here, so why not remove at least one of the causes directly.

Drugs (inc. Marijuana)
The NSPI seeks a complete ban on any drug. Drug offenses are answered with severe retaliation.

Labour Party

Gun Control
Increased control of concealed carry firearms, especially pistols and shortened shotguns. Legal open-carry of semi-automatic and bolt-action rifles, with a limit of possession of 200 rounds for each.

Drugs (inc. Marijuana)
The legalisation of medical marijuana is a high priority when it comes to our drugs policy. Whilst medicinal marijuana will certainly carry benefits for those who suffer from Parkinson's Disease and the likes, recreational marijuana would be legalised but heavily restricted.

Restrictions would include:
-A heavy tax on sales, similar to that of cigarettes
-A $1000 licence to be able to sell marijuana
-A limit on THC content
-The full illegalisation of "Skunk" type marijuana

Other drugs which are currently illegal would remain as such, however punishments for possession would be focussed on rehabilitation rather than deterrence. Jail times would be replaced with rehabilitation centres, supply would be punishable with unpaid labour and education of the effects on others.

All four want to either take away your access to guns and limit/ban the access to marijuana a drug that is less dangerous than alcohol.

Guess who is actually not going to infringe your rights? 

Longcross

Gun Control
We support the Second Amendment and citizen's rights to bear arms. We shall not infringe on these rights and will move to ensure that open-carry rights are sufficiently protected. We will maintain Idaho's status as a shall-issue state, and will liaise with local sheriff's departments to ensure that this occurs.

Drugs (inc. Marijuana)
We support the legalisation and commercial regulation of marijuana. We will move to lower punishments for personal amounts of other drugs, such as fines for small amounts, and a prohibition of prison time for possession of small amounts of drugs.

Ford

Gun Control
Liberals seek to strengthen open-carry laws and ensure that this vital right is protected for all to enjoy.
Liberals will continue Idaho's status as a shall-issue concealed carry state. I personally believe that the vetting system should be strengthened, so that weapons do not get in the hands of those who wish to do harm. Gun Culture is massive here however, and destroying that, is disrespecting the Constitution of the United States of America, therefore I believe that greater regulation is required for a Homeland Security/Public Safety Concern, otherwise, people will own guns because it really is a culture that I am proud of, but it does kill people and we must make sure that it is minimized as much as possibly within the State.

Drugs (inc. Marijuana)
Liberals will legalize regulated, commercial marijuana production and consumption, which will bring a great income to the state.
Liberals will seek to lower penalties for those caught with personal amounts of other drugs, and seek to eliminate prison sentences for personal amounts of other drugs.
