An American Map for an American(ish) server!

Now I hear you saying, isn't TrueNorth American, a bit yes, but just let us explain!

Why was Florida chosen for US?

A breath of fresh air, and unique taste. Florida might be different from our previous adventures, but the quality of the map is apparent.

With a version two of the map, Florida adds more and comes close to what we would want to see in a map. Yes, like all maps it has flaws but, with time we believe it'll be a savoury taste (not sure what this means Bambo but so long as it's not too salty!).

We've tested multiple maps for a while and we thought that Florida could be a fresh taste to start off the server!

Where is the server located?

Okay, you caught us, we are calling the server US but technically it is in Montreal, Canada (sorry aboat it eh?).

The server brags having the following: Intel i7-6700k, 32GB RAM, 2 SSDs + 1 HDD

This was teased ages ago, surely it wouldn't have taken you months right? Riiight? RIGHT??

Yep, but we ran into a networking issue on our host's end that caused the main delays, followed by several other database and network config issues we had to fix.

What is Florida v2?

The original Florida map featured a nicely designed city, with some of the best modern building designs when it comes to Gmod Maps.

Totally forgot about the date. Whoops.

Current playerbase is small but we do still track pretty high US numbers and plenty of those playing late at night EU time - might as well improve their experience. From past experience splitting wasn't a huge problem as people would gravitate towards one server anyway - shitty maps were an issue though.

Won't come alone either, this is just the first release as we need a bug-fixing period for various syncs etc. We would be teasing the next big update to come (very soon) but Bambo is STILL ASLEEP.
