Explain your suggestion, in detail:
Give the president increased control of the city's services and funding.

For example a control interface that would allow them to control the funding to individual services which would in turn effect the number of people able to join that service and the salary current members receive; with the excess funding going into a surplus that can be used for other city related stuff like private tow companies, security, etc.

The most important part is that the surplus funding cannot be withdrawn and put into the president's accounts.

Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
Gives the president a higher role than just a warrant accepting robot that can maybe issue passes if they feel like it; enhances current roleplay and adds further roleplay opportunities such as corruption RP, etc.

The president doesnt really have much control as of now. At most they make laws and accept warrants, hoping they are enforced. With this addition the President can control the city in their own way and really have a "political impact" on the Citizens.

Really good suggestion and idea.

Only thing will have to be that people might pay someone from the surplus who then just gives it right back

Then that'd be corruption.

The public might notice when the city has a shoe-string budget and nothing seems to be happening elsewhere and demand answers.

But there's no way to hold the president accountable. He can't be voted out of office. He can't be impeached. Last time I checked, they can't even be arrested.

A President can have a lot of respective power simply through his laws if done extensively. Now I have a ton of laws, I haven't yet beat the limit for the most laws on LL. But I have been criticized saying my laws are sporadic and recently i've been fixing them and there are good ways to find my laws anyway. Enough of me. I think that how the President function e.g Pro actively engaging with agency leaders, creating cabinet departments etc. Passing laws for both government and citizens and balancing it out.

LL (Which is why I love it) has this traditional culture where the President is actually respected, listened to and addressed at "Mr President". Raids are rare and his impact causes positive and negative relations with his team and the Citizens. I will however +support this because there should be more functions for a President to have an impact and RP. Even though many do not deserve to even receive taxes on the Job they do. Anyways, /endrant.

+Support - The Economy Option would be nice. Excellent idea and it is needed.
