17th of May is Norway's national day.

Did you know that Denmark and Sweden owned Norway for many years.
One day in 1814 over 100 people met up at a place in Norway called ''Tinghuset/Courthouse'' there Norwegian, Danish and Swedish people gather up and made a country called Norway and finally Norway got their own constitution.

That's pretty interesting! I knew Sweden had something to do with it but I didn't know Denmark was involved too. I guess that's why their languages are somewhat similar.
