Probably the most iconic physicists, Stephen Hawking, died today (March 14th, 2018) at 76. He is well known for his discovery of Hawking radiation, and merged Einsteins theory of relativity with quantum theory with Roger Penrose. I'm honestly shocked that he has died. Some say he was the greatest scientist of our time, and I must agree on that.

Sadly, shit happens. Whilst he was one of the best scientists the world had, life carries on and sadly it was his time to go. It's certainly a shame, but my thoughts go out to his family

He also died on Einstein's birthday.

A man who's made so much contribution to science,
Hawking Radiation.
A Brief History of Time.

After being given two years to live in 1963.
