New York City Police say they are responding to reports of an explosion at a bus terminal in Manhattan.

The incident reportedly happened on Monday morning at the Port Authority Bus Terminal near Times Square.
"The NYPD is responding to reports of an explosion of unknown origin at 42nd Street and 8th Ave, #Manhattan," tweeted the department.

ABC News quotes police sources as saying that a possible pipe bomb was detonated in a passageway below ground at the terminal.
One person is in custody and there is at least one injury, according to cable networks.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said President Donald Trump has been briefed on the incident.
The Port Authority Bus Terminal is the largest in the US, serving more than 65 million people a year.

Yeah. I mean he had the power of the whole entire internet and his pipe bomb didn't work. 

And internet, I don't see why we can't post jokes. Let me tell you something about NYC. When shit like this happens, few people actually care. Life goes on as normal. The subways and buses were back up and running fairly quickly. Taxis literally cut through crowds of pedestrians and no one gives a fuck. Our patriotism only grows stronger with the apprehension of these terrorists. 

A DEA agent didn't just die after infiltrating a Mexican cartel. 50 people weren't just gunned down by a crazed man. We aren't crying about this. A terrorist almost died, not any innocent people. He can rot in ADX Florence for the rest of his life with other Islamic extremists. 

Let people express their opinions. If they come in the form of a joke, well so be it. We aren't laughing at someone dying. We are laughing at a terrorist who utterly failed to even kill themself.
