Found the relevant logs which will support this.

After discussing with HR, we've decided to approve this refund request as a one off due to negligence, and this being quite easy to mistake for going back to your inventory. We came to the general opinion that if you remove it by the remover tool, then it should definitely go back to your inventory, and this opinion has been shared with Development. Please note that this will only happen because of this one incident, and if this happens again, it's likely that it'll be denied as you've now been informed (both through this post and past actions) that this isn't the case.

Refund will be issued for 1 UV light when I next see you online.
