So the next time they come with AK74's, Rpg-7's and so on? Basic rules of escalation mate.
It's very rare that they would actually arm against them as most protesters don't want to go "that deep". Wesley is right, if you are there and in the shit, you gotta retaliate with shit to disperse them before they strike first. Which bring me to my next point.

Then G36's, MP5's, and possible military action Smile

Basic rules of escalation, but it is always fun to see a bunch of idiots going to violence get crushed by law and order.

Well, I agree though that they acted like idiots. Rioting in my opinion only justifies the other party's actions.
However, my biggest concern in using such an item is that peaceful protesters may be caught in the crossfire, that's what I meant to say. If you can use such tools by focusing only on the rioters, go ahead.

Peaceful protesters shouldn't've been hiding armed shooters and if they don't try to hide them, you can't really stop law enforcement. An active shooter is gonna get a bullet, like it or not. Those protesters have gotten this far with all the riot officers have used so far. If they're still there, they're taking the risk.

Also, do you agree that the rioters should be sentenced to also clear the mess they made?

What do you mean? I agree if it's possible that they arrest all the rioters, but realistically that isn't possible. From what I see, it's open warrant season in Hamburg.
I meant other than their warrant, also sentence them to community service.

Mostly the "black block" (the rioters) where at the front of the huge demonstrations. The police tried to seperate them and totally failed with that, that leaded to this escelation directly on the first day. Much peaceful protesters got attacked from the police for only sitting on the street. The peaceful protesters never hided any "armed shooters". The police is just acting extreme aggressive against every kind of protest, me for myself already had to feel that as I live there. I am not defending the rioters in any way, but what the police is doing is not right too.

How would you like it if the police weren't there with water trucks and riot gear? More cars, shops, etc would be lit on fire. More people would be injured. It would literally be anarchy.

Sitting on the street is most likely still against the law in Germany. They are blocking traffic (even though most people probably attempted to stay away). Anyone who is identified by the police, 4chan (who then report to the police, in the case of Eric Clanton), or anyone else should be warranted for rioting.

Huh? Where did I say that I want this riot gear ect removed? I just say'd that the police is acting too aggressive against every person.

There is something called "demonstration right" Smile

I think what he is trying to say is you have to understand what the police are goig trough. Rioters outnumbering them, known violence, the literal name of it being Welcome to Hell. They aren't gonna take a chance. If you're participating in those riots, you are taking the risk of being seen as a potentially dangerous suspect that needs to be dealt with.

Unfortunately this is against the German constitution.

Because a bit of paper has stopped the Germans in the past.

British Police are now using a new tactic for riots called the "Super market Sweep" you can see it here https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p057d498 (Couldn't find a youtube link for it) basiclly they remove key members of the riots to try and get people to leave.

TBH this clip isn't very good from what they did in trainning but I have been looking about and I could only find this one which is when they used it for the first time in a public place (Million Mask March)
