Merrill Lynch Renovates Branch

Merrill Lynch launched a renovation project which saw its new website launch, along with a brand new branch design. Merrill Lynch's President, Charles Merrill III, said this project highlights Merrill Lynch's ongoing commitment to EvoCity and its people. He said the branch was designed with their customers’ needs in mind.

The branch was officially opened by President Peter Wilson, in a small ceremony witnessed by the CEO of Bank of America, Brian Moynihan; Deputy Chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Kendall J. Powell; and members of the Merill Lynch Board and staff.

Charles Merrill said it was important for the firm to deepen its presence within its customer base, encouraging one-on-one interaction with its customers. “Merrill Lynch's vision is for prosperous customers and communities, underpinned by progressive, accessible financial services and this new branch is aligned with this vision,” Merrill said.

Merrill Lynch is the wealth management division of Bank of America, America's second largest bank; it began operating in EvoCity in 2013 when it merged with Bank of America. Bank of America CEO, Brian Moynihan, said Merrill Lynch is enabling the wider EvoCity population to have access to financial services.

President Peter Wilson said traditional citizens are dealing with a dramatic change in the face of a modern economy. They face the challenge of managing their finances, having access to financial services and understanding digital financial services.
