Suggestion for <in-game/forum/teamspeak etc.>:

In detail, explain your suggestion: Since I've lately seen some people asking for the command to bind something for example, and there goes anyone kind to look it up, but wouldn't it be more kind enough to include the "commands" section in the F1 menu? Of course it would

Why should this be implemented?
There are various reasons which one of them is

1.) Won't really waste anyone's time looking for that command while it was being asked for via the OOC chat

2.) Will reduce the need to ask for a command to bind something to a key

3.) Can be actually helpful

-support. It's really not difficult to make a bind, and the type of bind varies based on the keyid and itemid. It would take a very long time for the staff to implement this, and then maintain it when items are changed/added. Fearless tried to have such an implementation, and it wasn't very good at all because it was difficult to update.

A lot of people have asked me about this, so I'll probably make a guide for it soon. It's very simple once it's explained.

Supports the new players that join the community. Guides are good but for players who do not use the forums they will not see it and will not know what they do. I personally know a lot of members aren't the most supportive especially when a lower hour'd player is playing a leading role which they wish to learn. Much like the with Voting page was added, not everyone part of the server joins the forums.

It doesn't need a whole section on the F1 menu though. It's quite literally bind keyid "say /inventory itemid use 1".

Showing the list is useful enough. I was asked how to bind a specific suit and the SuitIDs are not what people expect them to be and it's a determin of simply guessing the right one or using a the model paths. Anyhow, This could be expanded greatly with other commands such as Makeleader, Warranting for instance. This doesn't have to directly stay at the Binding of commands or even just console commands.

Acts could be placed in there, leadership role commands, presidency commands, Underground commands, advertisement commands etc, etc. A bigger image of the F1 Commands menu can be expanded greatly for those who don't play the server often to remember completely, new players or even new people to the game as people still purchase the game.

Perhaps other commands, but I'd disagree with a list of binds being shown. You would only need one generic hint for the structure of binding things.

There's no guesswork involved in itemids. You just drop it, pick it up and check console.

I'd support a list of commands, but not a whole list of binds.

Even though there is a guide to commands, not everyone is on the forums to find that, so making an in-game accessible way to find them is great.

On the flip side of that, wouldn't you say that it would encourage users to actually look at the forums? Not everything will be in-game, so they are missing out by not looking at the forums.

If people want to find things out, they should be prepared to make the effort to look at the forums, not get spoonfed every single detail over OOC.

In my opinion, No. If they find it too stressful or hard they will simply leave.

Nobody likes to be confused or stressed in an enviroment they are meant to be having fun in.

That's a massive exaggeration on the effort it would take. I don't think any player who is looking to play more than the one time would be willing to go on the forums and check the section for guides if they've been made aware.

There's currently a commands list command (/commandlist, I think?).

Pushing for Staff Review.
