i just came home and i haven't played gmod for like 4 days so now i cant join becaus i dont have the right map so i go to the announcments and i fin dthe map i download it but it opens up a website how do i join?

By going to this link, you'll find the map. Make sure that no other addons are supplying the map file as it could override what you've just downloaded. Once downloaded, place the map in the maps directory.

I believe the user may of downloaded the wrong file or something similar, as once the file from the FastDL server was put into his directory, it started to work.
