So basically when i am leaving from the city to outside the city  i am starting hearing... really weird sounds effects like  splash or breaking metal i tried verify integrity of game cache not working. I tried to type stopsound... not working D:

when you load gmod look at the console, their should be stuff highlighted in red if so go to your file/workshop and remove these. they could be conflicting with files or maybe even the map its worth a try

If it carry's on just do in console stopsounds

You could find the env_soundscape that plays the sound and then edit the key value for it with a different sound.
