Hey there,

This thread has been created due to recent misunderstandings of how to actually appeal a permanent-warning. To many this is second nature as you fully understand the system but since our population growth, newer players are joining the community so hopefully this thread will assist them should they wish to appeal a permanent-warning.

Step 1: What's first?

Direct yourself to the "Suspension" tab which can be found on the top of the page and then select "Warnings".

Step 2: Find your warning.

Finding your warning is rather simple, however, it's easier for you to find it if you appeal the warning soon after it's issued because it will likely be on the front page. Failing that, enter your SteamID into the search field at the top of the page.

Step 3: Creating the thread

Okay so there have been some minor errors where people have left out vital information from their thread or haven't used the correct template. The reason we have a template is so that our systems can notify the correct staff member should one of their suspensions receive an appeal. To ensure that the process of appealing a warning can proceed swiftly, we insist players use the template which can be found here.

Appeals note:
Appeals must be posted by the person appealing. If you are unable to post due to a forum ban or another valid reason, you may ask a player or member of staff to post on your behalf. If you are posting on someone else's behalf, state at the top of your post that you are posting this on behalf of <name> and provide a screenshot to prove that they asked you to post on their behalf. The appeal needs to be written by the person appealing, and copy-pasted by the spokesperson. A staff member may request similar evidence in subsequent posts and replies if they see fit (to ensure that this rule is enforced).

Regards,
LL Staff
