So far in 2016, around 566 people have been killed by police. Let's break down the data. Out of the 566 people killed so far this year, 136 have been black. That's 24%. About 49% of people killed by police so far are white. Now of those black people that were shot, 17% have been classified as unarmed. That means they didn't have a weapon in their hands. However, that doesn't take into account their vehicle as a weapon. Just looking at the data, most of those unarmed deaths involve the suspect being in a vehicle and possibly using it as a weapon. So they weren't really "unarmed".

Now let's look at 2015 too. In 2015, there were 1146 killed by police. 306 of them were black. That's 26%. Now if we look at the 2016 data, the deaths have went down 2%. So, so far in 2016, black people are dying less. Again looking at the same data, in 2015, 26% of the black people killed have been classified as unarmed. There is a 9% DROP in the amount of "unarmed black people" getting killed.

By looking at this data and not throwing in images with no merit, you can see that black people are dying less and less are dying unarmed. It's not hard to look for the facts, you just have to apply them.

A reasonable suggestion. The problem with THIS is that they're targetting the wrong demographic. They're making guns harder for LEGAL, COMPLIANT, CIVILIANS to obtain them. They're NOT targetting the CRIMINAL, SCUMBAG, LOW SOCIETY gang-bangers that buy their guns for 3 zips and a dime bag off the corner of Barrett Ave and 23rd Street.

Let's do it again. The kicker about all of this is that.. Why criminals STILL HAVE GUNS! And since it's harder for legal citizens carry guns, they can't.
