Explain your suggestion, in detail: If I want to sell a plate or transfer it to another car that will cost me $30k a time! IRL if I swap a plate over it costs me ~£90 whereas to buy a plate its £200+ whereas in game to swap a plate it costs $30k and $25k to buy one. I feel the cost to buy a new one should be $30k and then the cost to swap should be lowered to around $5k.

Explain why the suggestion should be implemented: This makes the whole process of swapping plates and trading cars/plates a ridiculous waste of time and extremely not worth it!

Realistically, a person would not normally buy that many plates, as it is a forever-lasting item, and not a consumable.

You're right in that it brings some wealth out of the system, however it's bringing the wealth out of the wrong people. The wealthy ones on the server will have plenty of plates that they most likely stick on a car, and leave on that car forever. The ones this is effecting most are the lower wealth players who have maybe one or two plates that they switch between their cars meaning you're sapping wealth out of the people that need it most.

The amount of money it costs to detach a plate will never affect those selling plates as the cost just gets passed straight to the purchaser.
