When this started, did you download anything that could interfere with it?
Do you get that problem on other servers?
Go to Options>Multiplayer> and make sure you selected "Allow all custom files from server"

Try updating your graphics card drivers and tell me if you still have problem and again, do you get any errors in console after you join limelight?

as you could see the console was f*cked too, and i recently changed graphics card and updated my drivers but i think it was still happening before i chanegd

Did you start getting the errors after you changed your graphics card?

if im not wrong it started before i changed but then it would just turn the text into boxes after a while of playing, recently when i have tried to go on the server it has just been all black like it would not load the visuals of the map but i could still sometimes do things like punch and stuff

It could be conflicting drivers or something along the lines of that.

I am out of ideas, I will page an expert, @Burnett if you have any ideas please help!

Your GMOD might be running on the wrong graphics card, your computer might be using the integrated graphics card instead of the main one. You need to go to the Nvidia Control Panel, Press Manage 3D settings, global settings and click preferred graphics processor making it the main one, and then go to program settings, choose gmod and make sure it's using that one also.

Did you try the second part?

Also try restarting your computer if you changed the graphics settings.
