Nahhhh -Support this is just too much, people will be using their personal cars as police cars more, plus you'll get to see more undercover police officers than normal ones.

CityRP 2 needs less Cops & Robbers, needs more things to support passive RP and other types of RP.

I think you misunderstand, more undercover/unmarked Police is just a small part of this, this would enhance many other RPs. I personally think unmarked cars are overused by Police, and am not a fan of the easily bought unmarked Charger.

As for supporting passive RP, equipping a Transit with amber lights could allow you to do a roadside assistance RP, cable/phone company RP, utility company RP, construction RP, and even more!

Throw amber lights on like a Prius? BOOM! Easy Security Guard or Parking Enforcement RP.

I think adding the ability to add lights to other cars for other events would be awesome, but here is the problem... People over use the lights as it is and for people with a computer that doesnt have a brand new graphics card and lives 3,354 miles away from the server it calls for some lag with the added lag from latency because sometimes the best internet in an area isnt that great. People dont know how to turn off there lights now xD people drive around with them on which should be more strongly enforced because its unrealistic that added to the fact that everyone with an emergency vehicle parks in the middle of the road which is annoying. All thats besides the point tho lol adding the ability to add a light bar and lights would be nice with its limits

I don't think the lights add any effect to internet lag really I think it just has to do with your location and the server's location mostly. But yeh the lights would effect FPS for sure but honestly I personally don't see a lot of people complaining about their bad FPS from the lights.

An idea here would be if a player wishes to make his own personal car into a undercover police car he at least has to have 7 - 10 Goverment REPs to be able to do that.

Other than government and police RP, for the other things listed in this suggestion +Support.

Oooh, I like that, also a REP limit for the current unmarked Charger, because it's overused too.

My point had little to do with the internet lag and more to do with frame lag because photon has little customization when it comes to client configuration like VCMod does and the little customization it does give you makes things look like crap if you change them and barely visable

+Support for certain vehicles, such as a raptor. But -support for vehicles like trabants, golf MKII's. It'd look really shitty and stupid with lighting packages on those sorts of vehicles.

(Would love to see an undercover audi rs4 avant though)
+Support
+ support. first responder RP FTW. #TheMedicalAudi
Gonna +Support again but gonna add a reason.

Don't add REP for it. Just, don't.

Although why not be able to buy from a the market, a set of lights for a vehicle.

It would be like,

Vehicle Additions:
Ford Raptor - Police Set, Security Set, FIB Set.
etc

Having to buy a set for around 100k? Mainly to stop abuse of players. I mean, sure most have around 5mil but not all players do. Why limit a player who could be the best roleplayer on the server but doesn't have the right amount of REPs. Sure they open doors but for people like me, staff don't always see great roleplays.

The REP would be for the special emergency vehicles (Everything not under Government Vehicles, and maybe for the Unmarked Charger too, because it is supposed to be special), not for the warning lights and whatnot.

It is very much needed otherwise we'll see a fleet of unmarked Bentleys running Cherries and Berries with Hi-Los blaring, and that would just be Stage 4 Cancer right there.
