Good day Community,
68 members participated in our latest Economy-vote on moneypacks.
The result clearly shows that moneypacks are not needed.

It's been two month and we actually want to discuss moneypacks, again.
Please be so kind and post your opinion. Thank you.
Add them, people wants to have money and have fun. Economy on LimeLight is pure bullshit and impossible. You can't create an economy in Garry's Mod.
This will definitely boost counts and mean more people RP instead of contra
It actually allows people to get fast money so its good instead of hours of woodcutting, contrawhoring etc. It also allows people to donate to the server instead of buying donator status and only getting 50k.
would be interesting to see the stat list.
I don't think players aren't roleplaying due to lack of funds. I said that on the initial post, and I say it now. I don't see how adding moneypacks would help anything.
I'd say it'd ruin the economy, but to be honest, as much as effort has been made to fix it, it's not changed at all, as far as i'm aware.
If you're going to add moneypacks, i'd personally like half of it to go to charity. At least then you can justify keeping any extra profits. (And not be like Soul.)

I really like that charity idea! Top
Yea, we need to face the facts that people with money, guns, and cars are going to play more than those who are broke. And it takes hours to get rich, an investment a lot of people aren't willing to make. Money packs will attract players, and stop people from sitting on their contrafarms for hours at a time.
If added I think the community should have a vote on a few places that you can donate to when buying packs.
^^^^^
It's double worth it if it goes to both the server and charity
Personally I still side with no. There are still things floating out there in the works (I hope anyhow) that will help with the economy situation, don't see why we should break it before it even has a chance to get working properly.
As for the money=people play more. I'm broke, I know I always will be broke. But that doesn't distract me from playing the game. Though I may be an oddball as I generally play nothing but firefighter... but still. I'm living proof that money doesn't equal happiness in the game.
No.
The reason why L2 split was because of monetary issues, as well as various other aspects.
I remember the developers and admins alike reassuring me that money packs would not see an introduction to this community.
This seems to me like a cash grab, and I don't blame you, but you should stick to your base principles you all set when this community was set, and that was no moneypacks to reduce P2W facets.
People weren't contrafaming because they had no money, they were contra farming because they had nothing else to DO.
With the implementation of the REP system, I've seen far more people Roleplay: why not add a money element to this and give people a monetary reward for each REP they receive, say 15k?
Let's face it, we have Contra, Meth, Logging and Trading in which one can make money; it's not like it's hard.
