They can very much go off duty and if they receive a call go back on duty. They shouldn't be limited. If they are not doing their job, they have a fire chief that can demote them for that.

If there was a full team of 4-5 of them them sure that’s a good excuse, but I cannot support that when we don’t even have the 3 slots filled 75% of the time. If you are not doing your job in the slot, you should not be in the slot. Joining that job IS going on duty.

+support, so many times when playing mechanic, or gun dealer people have run up to me and gone "Hey can you fix my car / sell me guns?"

Ruins any need to put effort into advertising, cos people just run up to you in the street when they see that C17 player model.

Explain your suggestion, in detail: Remove all job-based or specific clothing from being the default player model for that job and add it to the market.

Explain why the suggestion should be implemented: It will allow a greater variety in RP as well as reducing meta gaming.

Why does a gun dealer have to be a fat bald man? Why can't I look like a regular guy while I deal drugs down a back alley? Even LEOs should have the option to wear Civilian clothing without needing a teacher or staff member to set them like that.

Firemen going into fires without suits because they cant afford a suit, President looking homeless. Add them to the Market but I think jobs should still have defined models.

That can be rectified by just allowing them to change to those models instead of having to buy them.

I doubt that people will change into them. Some scopes of our playerbase I can see not being able, not caring or not knowing that.

Because that will stop people that dont know that things exist...
There are various aspects and features of this gamemode that people dont know that exist and this will just be adding to that list. Players can barely figure out how to buy Gov vehicles that are clearly defined in a sub-category.

Again, that can be rectified by having them spawn with the outfit on them, or make it a toggle-able option that is on by default. The other option might be giving lower hour/first time joiners a popup guide.
